who we are
Sarah Shepard Gallery was founded in 2018 by art world professional Sarah Shepard. As a proud part of the San Francisco Bay Area’s lively arts community, we celebrate emerging and established contemporary artists with practices local to Northern California and across the nation. We feature a robust rotating schedule of solo artist and group thematic exhibitions—with subjects ranging from the intersection of art and technology to meditative, abstract and contemporary landscape. Accompanied by a dynamic series of artists in conversation, guest curator talks, and family events, we take a multidisciplinary approach celebrating a range of media, including paintings, drawings, photographs, works on paper, textiles, and prints.
